This tour option begins at 18.30 with a guided tour of the Estate vineyards: an area located within the prestigious Primitivo di Manduria DOC appellation, which is one of the most well-suited areas in Italy for quality viticulture. Primitivo, a vine with very ancient origins, is now unanimously considered a symbol of the region and has long enjoyed significant success in Italy and internationally for its typicality and longevity. In addition to Primitivo, the vineyards at Masseria Altemura also host other native varieties such as Fiano, an ancient vine whose success dates back to the time of Frederick II of Swabia, Negroamaro and Aglianico, also flanked by 40 hectares of centuries-old olive trees.
At 19:30, after having discovered various fascinating aspects of this wonderful area and visited the ancient Masseria Altemura (farmstead), guests will be able to order, from a list, the wine that most fascinated them during the tour, pairing it with tasty local delicacies. "
